What services does Children Services offer to kinship care givers?

• We provide the meeting place for the Ashtabula County Kinship Support Group. The group meets at the children Services building, 3914 C Court, Ashtabula, OH, at 5:30 pm on the first Monday of the month. For more information about the group, send questions to ashcokinship@gmail.com
• Assistance with applying for the Kinship Permanency Incentive Program (KPI). KPI provides financial support to kinship families who have legal custody of the child in their care. To qualify, you must have obtained custody of the child in your care after July 1, 2005 and meet income guidelines.
• Information and Referral for community guidelines.
• Case management for those working with an open Children Services Case.
• Limited access to emergency assistance.
